Lance and Heidi visit

We had a nice weekend when Stasia, Christine, and the kids came to visit.  It was fun to have three babies all the same age on the play mat.  They loved interacting with each other.  It was a short visit, but next time it will be longer.  In addition, Ian has started sleeping on his belly.  I had to take a picture of him napping with his teddy bear in his crib.

Bath night and more

Today was a rainy day and the boys stayed in their pajamas all day.  Doug tried to get Sam to take a nap and he would not stop moving in Doug's arms.  We were talking and then we noticed Sammy fell asleep.  Then I noticed that Doug also fell asleep.  It was also bath night and the boys just love being wrapped up in the towels.

Rainy Day Saturday

The video is Sammy squirming around.  It is his way of moving around. As soon as he sees the camera he stops moving.

Daddy and the Boys

Well, today is Friday and another week is gone.  Doug took part of the day off and had extra play time with the boys this afternoon.  Maggie is getting more and more interested in the babies everyday.  She sniper crawled over to the mat to get a closer look at the babies.  I don't know who had more fun, the dog, the babies or Doug.   There is also a cute picture of Sammy making one of his funny faces.

Mommy and the Boys

The boys have not been feeling well so I have been taking may pictures of them.  I was reading them a book this evening and Doug took a picture of us before we started to play again.  They really enjoy the Valentine's Day books that Grandma sent them!  Fuzzy Elmo is a big hit.

Brothers hug, play, read together

We are getting a new camera and it should arrive in a few days.  Hopefully the pictures won't be fuzzy and red eye will not be as bad.  Anyway, the boys love to play with each other.  They like to wiggle until they can touch their brother.

Morning play time

This morning you can see a little bit of Ian's teeth coming through (of course I can't get a picture of it).  Sam has a tooth also breaking through, you can just feel it.  Sam was playing in the new bumbo chair I bought for him to help him sit upright.  Ian was rolling around so much he decided he had to rest his head for a bit.

Ian and Sam in their new 18 month shirts

Well, the boys are growing out of most of the things we have.  They needed some long sleeve shirts that are 18 months.  These are some we bought at the outlets in North Charleston.  They were having fun in the jumperoos and on the play mat.  They are really starting to play with each other more and more each day.

We are getting teeth!

Ian is getting his two front lower teeth breaking through the gums today.  Sam has his bottom teeth almost breaking through.  They are doing well with the teething toys that are chilled in the refrigerator.  That seems to help.
Here we are in some outfits we got from our cousin Lance.  We have a picture of Lance walking around Disney in the same outfit!  They are getting to be big boys!  Hopefully they will start crawling soon.  They definitely have rolling over mastered.

6 month check up

Well, the boys had their 6 month apointment today.  Ian weighed in at 21 lbs 14 oz and 28.5 inches long.  Sam weighed 21 lbs 13 oz and was 29.5 inches long.  They were both in the 90% for height and weight.  The shots went as well as expected.  They slept in the car on the way home.

Getting our blog started!

Hi!  I am hoping that creating a blog will make it easier for us to keep everyone updated on the boys and share pictures of them.  They are growing so fast and changing everyday.  Here is a picture of the boys Christmas morning. They each got spiderman couches and find it more fun to slide off of them than to sit on it.  Of course they found the wrapping paper to be much more interesting than most of their gifts.
